Fillmore Burritos

I recently started my music lit 117 class this summer. As part of the class we get to go to different venues in the bay area. The first place we went to was the fillmore (which I had been to before) for a tour instead of watching a show. After the tour we took a break and got to get some food. I had looked up some places in the area an found a burrito spot at the intersection of Fillmore and Golden Gate, but after walking down to the intersection, I was disappointed to find there was no burrito spot. Fortunately, right as I had started my walk to said burrito spot, I had seen another place right across the street from the fillmore. It was called the "Fillmore Mexican Grill". It's a really small spot with no more than 4 or 5 little tables. It turned out to be sort of a healthy burrito spot with Asian owners. When you walk up to the register they had potato chips and some bran muffins or all things. They didn't seem have any agua fresca or horchata, but did have the tubs you usually see them in. The burrito overall actually wasn't too bad. I ordered the vegetarian burrito; beans, rice, tomatoes, avocado, and some onions and cilantro. The rice had chicken stock in it, but the beans (refried, whole, and black) didn't have any lard in them. My only main disappointment with this place was that my burrito came in a whole wheat tortilla (which isn't necessarily bad, but it throws off the taste a bit for me), and the burrito literally came with 4 chips and that's it. 4 chips?! Whatever, the salsa was pretty decent though. The real test will be if they have good ass tacos, so if you eat meat and happen to be at the fillmore, and feel like checking this place out, let me know how the tacos are.

War Inside My Head!

I just blows my mind how blatantly rude some people can be. I'm a bit speechless when it comes to describing the gentleman that came into Whole Foods today. Whatever.

P.S. I love Suicidal Tendencies.
