G-RAF: out shooting @ the Martinez shoreline last night.

I got to meet up with Robin last night. We decided to get some Memo's and then go to Martinez. we went on a nice little walk and i brought my camera (my digital which has been reanimated with a new lens!) so i could take some photos on the train tracks.
Take care,

Cro-Mags photos
This was a fun show. It was the first of a two nighter show. Cro-Mags/ H2O/ Alpha & Omega/ Never Healed (played sat)/ Hour Of The Wolf (played sun). I think i've seen A & O once before, but this is the first time i recall seeing them. They weren't too bad. I'd only had a chance to catch H2O once before and it was @ Lisk Fest. Weird setting, weird fest. H20 definitely forgot their roots and sold out, but now they're back since it doesn't seem like the sell out thing worked too well for them. I still had a fun time watching them though. I mean, i lost my mind when i saw strife (of all sell out bands) @ Lisk Fest, so i can't really complain too much. I think i'm just in denial of how truly hard strife has sold out. Back to the show. Cro-Mags were great. I had my film camera with me since i was still in the process of rebuilding my digital after someone stepped on the lens @ a Hope Conspiracy show. It's a love hate relationship with film. It's soooooo expensive just to get shooting. I think i dropped around $30 just buying new batteries and film (I chose to shoot black and white because i figured i wanted to shoot something nice if i was gonna use my film camera. It was either that or slides, i didn't want color film). Then you have to get it developed. Some b&w film can be processed through a color machine, some  can't. The film i bought at Wolf camera (where they actually develop their own film) had to be sent out TO THE EAST COAST, and it's been just over TWO WEEKS, and i still haven't received my pictures. The love part of this relationship is when you finally get to see your work, and man is it satisfying. The photo you see above, and through the link, are ones taken on black and white film that could be processed with a color machine. The other two rolls are the ones that had to be sent out. Anyhow, i hope everyone enjoys these photos, cause it sure as shit is fun to take them.
Take care,
Jackson
